Mesotherapy is a non-invasive natural technique based on superficial microinjections into the scalp, just below the epidermis, into the target tissues. The solution injected contains a combination of hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals, co-enzymes, amino acids, antioxidants and caffeine is injected into the scalp to reduce or prevent hair loss and give the hair a healthy boost from the inside.
A mesotherapy gun is used to ensure the active ingredients are injected effectively and efficiently.
Mesotherapy is suitable for people over 16 years old who notice hair loss or thinning of the hair. It is, however, also perfectly suitable for individuals who simply wish to boost their hair (growth) from the inside.
By stimulating hair growth and nourishing the scalp, hair mesotherapy can help bring back strength, fullness and health to damaged, thinning and dull looking hair.
Especially if hair loss is caused by environmental factors (sun damage, pollution, medication use) and with some forms of hair loss with women (e.g., after giving birth or during menopause), mesotherapy can give great results.
Mesotherapy is harmless as long as it is performed properly by a trained professional.
We work exclusively with recognized products. While it hasn’t happened at Pc Hooft Clinic before, there is a small chance a client gets an allergic reaction to the treatment and sometimes we need to rule this out before we can start treatment. The risk of infection is extremely low but cannot be ruled out completely.
During mesotherapy, a cocktail of important nutrients is injected into the scalp. It contains B-vitamins and cafeine. Other active ingredients improve the strength and flexibility of the hair vessels and strengthen the hair bulb. They also calm the scalp and boost your body’s supplies of Glutathione and Ferrous Gluconate, nutrients that both help prevent cell damage and hair loss. For an additional price of €50, we can add a mixture of peptides to the existing hair cocktail. This peptide mix makes the treatment’s effect last longer, improves the health of the scalp and nourishes and thickens the hair root.
The treatment is suitable for anyone who notices hair loss or thinning of the hair and/or simply wants to give their hair a healthy boost from the inside.

An older and perhaps more known method that is similar to I-PRF is PRP. I-PRF, however, is a much more powerful treatment.
